INFINITEWARE Wins Best Utilization of AI at Bahrain eGovernment Excellence Award 2023
At the 12th edition of the Bahrain eGovernment Excellence Award, INFINITEWARE was honoured in the Best Utilization of Artificial Intelligence category for the Labor Law Instant Chat, the Kingdom's first AI-driven labor law assistant.
INFINITEWARE was honoured at the 12th edition of the Bahrain eGovernment Excellence Award, held at Exhibition World Bahrain on 10 October 2023, winning the Best Utilization of Artificial Intelligence category for its Labor Law Instant Chat.
The ceremony was opened by His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Information and Communication Technology (MCICT). The Minister noted that the government had identified more than a hundred fields in which to extend AI as part of Bahrain's digital transformation programme, on top of full nationwide internet coverage.
Labor Law Instant Chat, INFINITEWARE's free AI chatbot for navigating Bahrain's labor regulations, was singled out for genuinely novel use of AI in a public-interest context. Rather than returning rigid keyword matches, the system understands natural-language questions and points users at the relevant sections of the law.
The award is administered through the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) and is the Kingdom's flagship recognition for digital transformation work. The AI category placed INFINITEWARE alongside winners across digital services, smart device applications, and citizen-facing eGovernment platforms.
