INFINITEWARE delivered the closing session at Securing Financial Services Data in the AI Era, a joint workshop held by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) and the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) at the BIBF Auditorium in Manama on Sunday, 30 August 2026. The workshop was built for the people who touch customer data every day: customer service teams and staff who handle sensitive information across the Kingdom's financial services sector.

The program ran in two parts. The first session covered the human firewall and the everyday habits that keep an institution safe. The second and closing session, AI in Cyber Security: An Agentic Outlook, was delivered by INFINITEWARE Chief Executive Officer Ameen Altajer, and made a single argument: an AI agent is a co-worker, and the same co-worker is an attacker or a defender depending only on who points it. The attacker's copy has no approval cycle, no procurement, and no change board, so the one lever an institution genuinely owns is the speed of its own defenders.

The session drew a hard line between an AI agent and the automated scanners the sector has run for twenty years. Speed, tirelessness, and scale are not new. Adaptation is. Blocked at the firewall, an agent writes a different approach and comes straight back, which is why detection has to buy time before the breach rather than explain it afterward.

The hour was built around live demonstrations rather than slides. Attendees watched AI agents connect to a business environment and report what they found on screen, then followed a step-by-step reproduction of a red team and blue team engagement against a bank, labeled on screen as a reproduction throughout, from the first quiet probe to containment, with the running cost of each side displayed in fils as it accumulated. The closing figure was the argument: the attacker's side of the run cost less than a cup of coffee.

For a room whose daily work is customer contact, the practical part of the session was what an AI-written approach looks like from the receiving end. It will not read like a scam. The grammar is correct, the tone matches the sender, and it is patient enough to wait several exchanges before asking for anything. The tell that survives is the ask itself: urgency, secrecy, or a change to payment or access details.

The workshop forms part of a wider national effort to raise AI and cyber security awareness across Bahrain's financial services sector. INFINITEWARE is a Bahrain-based artificial intelligence company working across artificial intelligence, cyber security, simulation, and software engineering, with sovereign and on-premise deployments for enterprise and government clients in the Kingdom.
