Orchestration Lab: The Six Levels of AI Agent Maturity

In Orchestration Lab, we're going to take you on a journey to discover how to bend those AI agents to work in the correct way. Six stages and you're going to be in good hands. Level one, chat. This is where you basically talk to your AI agent and it just responds to you like a normal co-worker, nothing special, but at least it gives you a value in terms of text.

In level two, we're going to have assistant, which means that co-worker is going to be able to somehow help out by editing files, manipulating small things. Level three is scripted, which means your AI agent is doing some great work but it's only good at one thing and it's kind of scripted so it's hard to change it unless you are the person that built it.

Level four is where you have orchestration which means you will have a manager and their manager can delegate work or fan out as we call it to multiple virtual employees. Level five is institutional which means those AI agents they're going to be inheriting your wisdom, your company's wisdom and they're not going to be working at their own whim.

Level six is the holy grail, autonomous which means those AI agents are working on their own. You don't have to instruct them like kids anymore. They have your values and they have their mission and they're going to go on their own.
